• You should not loan your wall certificate to anyone
• The ASCP Member ID card is only for you, never share it.
• Never post your ASCP ID card number, wall certificate copy, or score report on the internet.

• The candidates who have the ASCP ID card number or wall certificate have a hold to change the name on the certificate or documents.
• The wall certificate copy can be used to get jobs as medical lab professionals.

• Login to open your ASCP website account.
• Create a new one if you have any doubts related to your existing account.
• Do not make a mess by creating a duplicate account; it is not workable.
• Explore the option of “Start New Search” and insert the required details. This information may include your first and last name, date of birth, ASCP customer ID number, social security number, and certificate category.
• Per individual request, you have to pay $16.
• The final result shows “all active credentials” and “all expired credentials” per request.
• If you do not find any matches, this request will be sent to BOC automatically for further search and final outcome regarding the ASCP validation process.

Understanding Verification Requirements

For certification verification, you have to fill out a form.

This form required some personal information, including the candidate’s name, date of birth, etc.

You have to submit the verification fees.

Timelines for ASCP Certification Verification

The ASCP does not consider you a certified professional until you get your final score report.

This report will be available within four business days after taking the exam.

Because ASCP will not proceed with the process without a score report.

State Board (NV, LA, NY, WV, ND, and PR)

• It takes 2 or 3 business days to proceed with a verification request.
• You will get an email notification when your request is processed.

State Board (MT, FL, TN, CA, and HI)

• You are responsible for following the instructions on the online form
• Click 3rd party verification request and choose the State Board and recipient.
• It takes 24 hours for the application to be processed and the result will be available for 90 days.
• When the request is processed, you will be informed by email.

Understanding Verification Fees

Although the ASCP certification application fees are different based on the applicant’s residence and certificate category, the ASCP verification fee is the same for each certification.

It is $16.

You have to pay this fee per attempt, whether you find your relevant result or not.

Verification for International Candidates

If you are an international candidate and want to get the ASCP certification, you have to get a foreign transcript evaluation with other eligibility requirements.

Your transcript evaluation must be completed by an approved transcript evaluation organization and show the statement that the degree is equivalent to the U.S. degree.
