• Route 2: Bachelor’s degree + diagnostic molecular science program (internship) with biology and chemistry program
• Route 3:  Medical lab science program, including training in microbiology, hematology, chemistry, and blood banking + bachelor’s degree
• Route 4: Bachelor’s degree (must be in chemistry or biological science)/baccalaureate degree with a combination of 30 semester hrs in chemistry & biology + one year molecular biology lab experience that may be clinical or research, veterinary, or industry
• Route 5: Master’s degree in related field + Clinical/veterinary, research, or industry experience (6 months) in a molecular biology lab
