What is the difference between the MLS ASCP title and the MLS ASCPi title?
Here, you will get detailed information about it.
MLS ASCP Title: What is MLS ASCP/ASCPi?
The American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) presents more than 20 certificates.
Many of these are designed for U.S. and non-U.S. (international) professionals.
For identification, the board uses the designation (ASCP) for United States professionals and (ASCPi) for international professionals.
So, the MLS ASCP title represents the certificate for the U.S. candidates.
Both certificates (ASCP/ASCPi) are equally powerful and offer the same advantages to certified professionals.

Difference Between MLS ASCP Title and MLS ASCP CM Title
All professionals who get certification from the ASCP BOC have to maintain their certificate every three years of getting it.
It means your MLS (ASCP) credential is only valid for three years.
To update your credentials, you have to take part in the CMP, which revives your license for the next three years.
The CMP represents the Credential Maintenance Program.
