26 points in lab management, lab specialty, education, molecular diagnostics, or other lab work.
In medical ethics, you need to acquire one point.
1 point must be obtained for lab or patient safety.
MLS ASCP Renewal Process: Application Fees
The application fee for the MLS ASCP CMP is $100 if you send your declaration before the expiration date of your certificate.
Make sure to send your declaration at least three months prior to your expiration date.
But, if your certificate has expired due to any reason, you have to pay the fee for the expired credential with your CMP application fee, which is $135.
MLS (ASCP) Renewal Points: How to Earn?
The ASCP Board of Certification allows you to achieve your CMP point in two ways: from the ASCP website and from non-ASCP CE providers.
The CE points that you will earn from the ASCP BOC platform will automatically be entered into your ASCP transcript but the points from non-ASCP CE providers, you need to insert manually.
