Select MLS- Medical Laboratory Scientist

Have you completed a NAACLS* accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program within the last five years?

Have you completed a 50-week U.S. military medical training course within the last ten years?

Do you have a valid (not expired) ASCP MLT certification?

Do you have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university?

Do you have at least 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) of biological science (with one semester in microbiology)?

Do you have at least 16 semester hours (24 quarter hours) of chemistry (with one semester in organic or biochemistry)?

Do you have five years of full time* acceptable clinical laboratory experience in the U.S., Canada or an accredited** laboratory within the last ten years?

Does your clinical experience include all of the following areas?
Blood Banking
Chemistry
Hematology
Microbiology
Immunology
Urinalysis/Body Fluids

Based on your responses, it appears you would most likely meet Route 4 eligibility requirements for the MLS Medical Laboratory Scientist examination.
